What do you think...?

So I've pretty much written off 2020 for DJ work now, although I remain hopeful that socially distanced events will be allowed in the coming few months to shed a small amount of light at the end of the tunnel. So with that said I have spent most my free time more towards producing vocal/piano house tracks.

For me producing electronic music is awesome, and such a great feeling when you play the finished article. Getting the masses to listen and even more so, provide feedback seems to be the hardest thing so far. Without this, it makes it difficult to approach record labels or other distribution services and get them to take me seriously. Nevertheless, I strive on and keep producing.

I know I'm probably a bit late to the party and all that but with a few tracks under my belt, I've only just heard about an Electronic Press Kit (EPK). "What?" I hear you say. Well, we all need to start somewhere! So I have gone back to my website and re-vamped my Productions page and given it a Bio and embedded links for all my tracks to SoundCloud.

It already feels more professional seeing it in this format.

So now I have that covered, what's next? I certainly need to get more views and listens for the tracks I currently have and I'm sure posting on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc could be a full-time job!!

Keeping content up-to-date and relevant is probably what I'm focusing on more at the moment but I do need to start promoting my tracks on to playlists and record labels. A needle in a haystack comes to mind!

At this stage in the game, this is super important to me and it's the hope this will elevate me to at least level 2 in the music game.

To have a top 40 hit and be able to build on my DJ career and play out in some of the worlds biggest stages to thousands of people - that's the dream, and I won't ever stop trying!

Music is a massive part of my life and I'll never want to be without it.
